The FLT Med monitoring Network is a network of Universities, research bodies and NGOs who regularly monitor cetaceans, marine mega and macro fauna, maritime traffic and floating marine macrolitter along 10 fixed transects distributed in the Mediterranean basin. Surveys are conducted all year round using two shared protocols and passenger ferries as platform of observation.
